Weather

Summer is the easiest touring season, but altitude keeps nights cool and thunderstorms can develop quickly. Winter travel is possible with proper equipment and an authorised night stop, but snow phases, avalanche control and ski traffic can change access at short notice.

Spring and autumn are transition seasons. High routes may remain wintry when the main valley is clear. Treat valley forecasts as the warmest case and check Andorra's weather and Mobilitat road status immediately before driving uphill.
